• The countershaft rear bearing requires a great deal of force over a large span to remove, and must be removed before the countershaft can be taken out of the transmission case.
• J-8433 is used with previously essential J-22912-01 Bearing Remover to remove the countershaft rear bearing.
• J-22912-01 is placed around the countershaft rear bearing, with its lip under the bearing.
• J-8433 is attached to J-22912-01 and its forcing screw is tightened against the countershaft to force the bearing off of the countershaft.
