Removal Mode

Remove All Empty Lines Removes every line that contains no characters or only whitespace (spaces, tabs). Remove Blank Lines Only Removes only truly blank lines (zero characters). Lines with spaces or tabs are kept. Collapse Consecutive Empty Lines Collapses runs of two or more consecutive empty lines into a single blank line.

Additional Options

Trim trailing whitespace Remove trailing spaces/tabs from each kept line. Keep leading blank line Preserve one blank line at the start if present. Keep trailing blank line Preserve one blank line at the end if present.
